I made an exact cast of a "baby" pine cone and reproduced it in solid silver :)
which when moved under the light shows a diffuse opalescence with flashes of red
The result is a citrine that does not resemble a “catalog” cut: It looks like a small fragment of the sun trapped in an organic frame
which presents a beautiful harlequin effect
