Naming is officially impressed. Very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: Corporal David Bowick is shown on the roll of the 94 man 8th Battalion and is listed on page 74 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866 70" by John Thyen. He is acknowledged has having been in action at Trout Lake in 1870 with the Montreal Garrison Artillery. (C: 39)
