Instituted 18 october 1766. (1766 1918 issue). A fine example of the order, meticulously crafted in Gold with enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms inside of a Gold frame, the obverse with a central enameled medallion bearing a finely detailed hand painted depiction of St. Elizabeth of Hungary distributing alms, the reverse with a central white enameled disc bearing a gilt
